About Stickybud Cards

Hello and welcome to Stickybud Cards,  Yorkshire, England.  Growing up in the Yorkshire Countryside with wildlife, countryside and animal loving family,  a lifelong love of animals ensued.  I grew up with pets around me at all times.  Dogs, rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, mice, budgies,  a pony obsession – as children we would buy pony nuts for the field ponies we visited on our regular countryside walks & build gymkhana jumps in the garden.  After leaving home, more dogs, a hamster and lots of cats.  My animal love has passed onto my children and the horsey bug has hit my Pony Club daughter.  I always drew my animals and the people in my life and always wanted to work with animals or in the art field. Doing the animal designs for my Greeting Cards combines both these passions.  I design Horse, country & animal watercolour illustrations.  The designs are painted in watercolour and pencil or ink. Then they are scanned & printed by a fantastic Graphic Design & Printing Company in London.

The current range is mainly horse and pony birthday cards and open cards, due to my lifelong obsession with horses and other animals.  My daughter and my riding lessons give me the horsey bug and inspire new ideas.

I also do business card/logo design.  Here’s an example of one of my designs.

Payment can be made though PayPal, Postal Order, or personal cheque.  You don’t have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal, it will just ask you to enter your card details.  It’s safe and  is the quickest way to pay, as payment will be there straight away and we will endeavour to post the card/s out the next working day. Please email if you want to pay by Postal Order or cheque on info@stickybudcards.com

Personal Cheque  is the slowest method of payment as we have to wait for your cheque to clear before posting.

Postage is through Royal Mail first class.  You will be charged only the Royal Mail charge as per weight of your cards. So, for example, if you order 4 cards (at 22g each) they will weigh 88g, which falls in the UK large letter category 0-100g, so would cost £1.30.  Ordering 9 cards would still cost £1.30 postage because it’s below 250g.  You can check the cost of your postage before you order at Royal Mail website.

Feel free to email me on info@stickybudcards.com to ask for a postage price.
